Technical description

Berried tomato production line, and a

ROSSI Q 600  type tomato juice inspissator 

 

Tomato berry processing line, processing equipment

 

Berry processing:

 

-         suitable for reception 20 t of berried tomato, made from carbon steel, equipped with ramp, with discharge water flow, with mud discharge appliance,

-         stainless steel floating cradle

-         stainless steel soaking washer, stainless roller conveyor,

-         stainless steel drum washer,

-         air-injection rinsing washer,

-         roller separator belt,

-         berried tomato snapper and a Cs. 300 pump,

-         horizontal barrel preheater with a 5 m3 adapter tank and a Warman  circulation pump

-         juice recovering, vertical axis Rossi type turbo extractor, 2 * 3 m3 tank for juice extract.

Evaporator:

 

Q 600 5 bodied vacuum evaporator equipment of 4 grades.

5 body, juice-side, 1,2,3,4,5 – the dry content of the juice increases in bodies following each other.

4 grades, steam or vapour as heating medium, direct steam heating – only body No. 1  

could be heated with direct steam flow. Heat exchangers of the other bodies are heated 

by vapour / steam of the other bodies. Bodies 3 and 4 of steam side have common steam room. 

Juice and steam flows of the equipment are of cross-flow type.

 

Vacuum:     

 

Exhaustion of steam rooms and low boiling temperature are provided by a semi-

barometrical condenser.

 

Air:

 

Through a 6 – 7 bar air-water separator and reductor pressure drops to 1,4 – 1,5 bar which

provides level control of the bodies.

 

Aseptic, bag filling system

 

28 – 30 %  tomato concentrate flows to a 3 m3 horizontal pipe sterilizer through a closed adapter tank, then comes a cooling phase. Cooling of the concentrate is carried out in a 3-grade, scraped-wall heat exchanger. Cold concentrate is filled by a two-head, automatic, aseptic bag equipped with a scale.

 

The capacity of the offered equipment is 450 t / day berried tomato. When producing 28 – 30 ref.% concentrate it is 70 tons per day.
